Blackrock Further Education Institute (BFEI)
Blackrock Further Education Institute (BFEI) is not part of the CAO points systems and offers students alternative pathways to degree courses or professional qualifications to those who want to go directly into employment. BFEI also offers second chance opportunities to individuals who do not have the Leaving Certificate and are looking for a new career, and a fresh start. The Institute is located just off the main street of Blackrock village and is served by the DART line and key bus routes.
Staff at BFEI are looking forward to welcoming visitors to their next Open Day on Wednesday 23 May from 2pm to 4pm. Open Days provide an excellent opportunity to learn more about the courses and qualifications. Students can make a more informed decision about a course/career choice by speaking to course teachers and students, sampled the atmosphere and seeing the state-of-the-art facilities which includes computer laboratories, design studios, beauty salons and the learning centre.
For those with an interest in the Interior, Graphic and Web Design there will be an exhibition of student work on display during the Open Day.
