UCD Mathematics & BAFS Open Evening

UCD Science cordially invites prospective students, their families and guidance counsellors to attend the UCD Mathematics & BAFS Open Evening. This event takes place from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 9 November 2017 in the UCD O’Brien Centre for Science.

The evening will offer prospective students the opportunity to meet staff, alumni and current students from the UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics to hear about the following degrees UCD:

DN200 Science: In the DN200 Science programme, students can focus on their preferred stream immediately or explore a range of subjects. The UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics offers the following degree subjects:

Applied & Computational Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics and our suite of Science & Mathematics Education courses.

DN230 Actuarial & Financial Studies: The DN230 Actuarial & Financial Studies course will prepare you for a professional career in the actuarial or financial professions. There will be an opportunity to meet staff, alumni and current students from the programme.

Degrees via DN520 Arts and DN700 Social Sciences will also be discussed.
