Bachelor in Acting This three year full time honours degree will provide each student with all the training necessary to become a professional actor through a series of skills based courses. Bachelor in Stage Management and Technical Theatre Available for the first time this year, subject to academic approval, this three year degree replaces the two year Professional Diploma in Stage Management and Technical Theatre. The course has been enhanced to provide increased opportunities in specialist areas within stage management and technical theatre (e.g. sound, lighting and construction), increased professional placements and a major research project relevant to a student’s choice of specialism. Classes on production management, design (set, lighting, costume and sound) and managing your own freelance business will also be introduced during the final year

Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre This is a full time course over two semesters. It is ideal for school leavers who are interested in preparing themselves for three-year actor training at conservatoire level either at The Lir Academy or a similar drama school.
