How to manage stress

Feeling stressed or anxious at times is a normal part of dealing with life’s challenges. The right amount of ‘positive stress’ can help us to stretch ourselves to achieve our potential whilst too much may feel overwhelming and become counter-productive. You might like to check out some of the advice and resources on the Reachout site on the sidebar, the SAM app from UE Bristol listed in a previous entry, or this site below which has lots of resources and relaxing activities such as guided meditations and body scans which have been shown to reduce levels of anxiety and negative stress. Of course the key to all these activities is to practice them! Let us know what you find helpful or if you have found any other good resources to share.
