DIT Computing Summer Camp

“Dublin Institute of Technology – The School of Computing is hosting its fifth annual Computing Academy on the week starting on 25th May 2015. We will have between 40 and 50 Transition Year students attending the college, approximately half of them will be male and half female. The students applied for their places online through our school website at http://www.dit.ie/computing/events/academy/.

Students will work in the lab for most of the day, developing web sites, coding robots, developing mobile applications and writing games. For an hour each evening, the students will attend a session with an experienced lecturer, where aspects of Computer Science will be explored. The purpose of this camp is to make the students aware of the concepts involved in studying Computer Science and to dispel any preconceived ideas they may have formed.”
