The Central Applications Office (CAO) processes the majority of applications to Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEI). Students learn about the CAO process in their guidance modules in Transition Year and again in their 6th year guidance modules and in their individual guidance meetings. We also have an annual CAO information talk for 6th year students and their families. Students receive a CAO booklet which in conjunction with the website contains the information they need. Students and their families can contact us in guidance with any queries.
