RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland) Open Day

RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland) will hold its annual Open Day for secondary school students on Thursday 2nd January 2014. The RCSI Open Day will be of interest to students in 4th, 5th and 6th year interested in studying medicine, pharmacy or physiotherapy. , Students can register to attend the open day at http://www.rcsi.ie/openday2014. The Open Day is free to attend but students must register to advance to guarantee a place.

During the day-long event, students will meet with RCSI staff, students and graduates, to give them an idea of what it is like to study medicine, pharmacy and physiotherapy and take up careers in these areas. A series of talks will be held on the range of courses available at RSCI, how to apply to RCSI through the CAO system and information on the Health Professional Admissions Test (HPAT). An exhibition will be hosted by faculties and staff, who will be on hand to answer any questions.

To gain access to the event, students must bring the ticket that they will receive upon registering.. Students can register at http://www.rcsi.ie/openday2014.
